The Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management and Economics of Public Health (RSPC MT) is the head institution in the country for the implementation and coordination of research and development work on the organization, management, economics and informatization of public health.

The goal of the Center's activities is research on improving the functioning of the healthcare system of the Republic of Belarus in modern socio-economic conditions, developing strategies and tactics, and new organizational measures to improve medical care for the population of the Republic of Belarus.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Research activities

  • conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of public health and public health;
  • scientific research on the development of public health in the Republic of Belarus on the basis of studying the domestic and international experience in organizing medical care for the population, organizing the work of medical workers;
  • monitoring of medical and demographic and social indicators and their prediction;
  • scientific substantiation of measures and measures for the formation of state programs in the field of public health protection and evaluation of their effectiveness;
  • development of scientifically sound proposals to optimize state guarantees for providing medical care to citizens;
  • development of scientifically sound proposals for the improvement of the regulatory legal framework for health care;
  • scientific justification and optimization of the organization of medical care to the population of the Republic of Belarus;
  • development and implementation of organizational technologies, rational methods of managing the healthcare industry;

  • development, application and management of computerized systems on processing of information from health care institutions of various levels
  • development and application of the electronic documents circulation in the administration of the Ministry of Health and health care institutions
  • development, application and support of the computer  systems on gathering and processing of information from the medical population-based registries
  • development, application and management of computer systems for the creation of data storage for medical information, including for a long-term accrual of medical indices on the work of the branch and the state of the health of the population of the Republic of Belarus
